LIST OF ELECTRONIC ALBUMS
ALBUM DANCES FOR GOD
15 min. Experimental Electronic Music Instrumental, some vocal with guitar and electronic background.
Two of the numbers on this cd are Christian,
"
Fairest Lo'ward Jesus," which is the ancient Crusaders's hymn, and
"
Old Hundred,"
a Sacred Harp song having the same tune as the Doxology. Fortunately or unfortunately, the technician forgot to add the vocal track to this number, so it is an instrumental. Click here to hear more sound samples from "Dances for God."
ALBUM DIG THIS
51 min. Experimental Electronic Music, some with guitar and vocal.
These include the much praised and requested Christian originals, "
William the Conqueror,"
and "
Jacob's Dreaming Stone."
The song, "
Jumbo Johnnie"
is Christian also. It is a fantasy story, having a veiled allusion to Christ. "Jacob's Dreaming Stone" traces the bearing of the stone whereon Jacob laid his head to dream. The saga begins with his departure for Laban's farm. The stone is relocated to Scotia, which is presently known as Ireland, thence to present-day Argyll, thence to Scone, and eventually to the British coronation seat. "William the Conqueror" gives first the Israelite background of William's antecedents, then vividly tells of his conquest of Yngland, noting the fact that of all the contestants, he was the one who was in support of the expansion of "The Church."
